New Look

AlForge is excited to introduce our fresh rebrand, starting with our panel! The new copper look is not only visually stunning but also easy on the eyes. You can now effortlessly switch between light and dark themes, with the dark theme set as the default. We can’t wait for you to experience this vibrant transformation!

New Features

The new features of our updated panel are designed to enhance user experience and streamline your workflow. With these enhancements, managing your tasks will be more seamless than ever, enabling you to focus on what truly matters: gaming.

General Features

• Server Sorter - For those of you with many servers, you can now easily sort them on the server list page by dragging and dropping them. Put your important items up top
• Privacy Mode - A new setting to enable a privacy mode for streamers and sharing your screen, which will automatically blur sensitive information in the panel
• Floating Windows - Multitasking made easy. With a right click, you can pop a new floating window open to handle multiple tasks at one time
• Simple Schedules - Schedules now default to a user-friendly view and hide the cron syntax behind an advanced button
• Panel Sounds - Optional new feature that enables sounds in the panel for interactions and server status changes
• Cloudflare Turnstile - Direct theme integration to allow a seamless bot filtering for all users

File Manager

• Cleaning and simplifying the user interface
• Direct Folder Uploads - No more multiple clicks. You choose and upload your folders with all your data with a click and drag
• Move Files - Simplified the interface and made it easier for customers to move data around
• Trash Bin - Updated look and feel, which retains the functionality for cleaning up old data with a dedicated button

Console

• Copy console log moved from the command bar to the top right
• Added filtering for message types such as info, error, and warning to enable users to more easily find problems in their console

Subdomains

• Complete overhaul of the backend system
• Customers will need to recreate new subdomains
• The panel will automatically update customer DNS records if their server IP is changed
• Added support for bring your own domain. This system can automactilly create correct DNS records on your own domain

Backups

Our backup system has been completely overhauled from the ground up to improve speed, reliability, and usability. Normal backups are extremely wasteful because they upload data that already exists in the backup system. Also, once the server data exceeds 25 GB, the upload success rate would decrease. We have worked to completely overhaul this and to integrate a deduplication system that uploads only new or changed data. Now, when you back up your data, it is split into chunks, and each chunk is backed up. If a chunk fails, it will automatically retry. After the initial backup completes, subsequent backups will only upload changed data, drastically reducing the amount uploaded and saving time and bandwidth.

Old Method

• Day 1 - Full 5 GB backup
• Day 2 - Full 5 GB backup
• Total - 10 Gb

New Method

• Day 1 - Full 5 GB backup
• Day 2 - 300 MB backup
• Total - 5.3 GB backup

Disaster Backups

We will now expose disaster backups to all customers on the backups page labeled “System Backups.” These backups do not count toward your backup quota. We will perform these DR backups every 12 hours and retain the last 5 days of snapshots. If you want more frequent backups, you can create a schedule to use your backup slots.

What changes for customers? Nothing, everything to you looks exactly the same. Enjoy faster backups and restores, plus access to our regular system backups.

Network Statistics Manager

Server-level visibility for customers has never been possible before. We have redesigned some internal network mechanisms to enable this data collection.

• View all incoming/outgoing server traffic
• Visualize the types of traffic on the server
• Visible alerting/monitoring of basic attack types, such as floods and queue protection
• Stores data for the past 24 hours. Once we evaluate the storage growth, we may increase this.

Player Manager

We have updated the player manager to support more games, starting with a couple, and planned expansion into others.

Minecraft Player Manager

• Support for Java and Bedrock editions
• Updated user interface for new functionality and usability
• Peak player count tracking. 30-day history retention
• Now supports actions on players, inventory managment and visbility including ender chests, player statistics, and achievements
• Player activity logging

Hytale Player Manager

• Player list
• Player skin display
• Player UUID, avatar, positions, worlds, and gamemodes
• Permissions management, including groups and player assignments
• Allowlist management
• Ban list manager

Server Importer

• Improved UI by consolidating components to improve usabiliy inseat dof multiple openable boxes
• Added ability to selectively import fileson import (eg only import the world)
• Added support for more protocols. The full list now includes FTP, SFTP, SCP, and SSH

Databases

We have added a huge update for database management to make it easier and more visible so you do not have to use external tools.

• Added the ability to import directly from another database in addition to SQL file uploads
• Added import selection to only import what you need
• Added the ability to merge or replace data on import
• Added an import analysis
• Multiple options to export database dat including SQL file, Gzip, Bzip2, zip, tar, 7-zip, and RAR
• Added the ability to selectively export data
• Database editing, including raw SQL support or a visual editor. Think about everything that PHPMyAdmin can do
• Database health checks
• Database performance analyzer and index optimization tools

Config Editor

• Support for all games added (games will be added one at a time after release so not all config files will be displayed at launch)
• Automatic input detection for items such as text, boolean, numbers, etc…)
• Real time search through added configs
• Syntax highlighting
• Raw file editing for the experts
• Find and replace
• Support for yaml, ini, cfg, conf, config, toml, env, json, xml, sql, txt, text, sh, bash, and more

Hytale

• Automated server authentication by AleForge. You will only need to manually authenticate your server if you want it to appear in a server browser.
• Automated downloads for updates and initial install
• Mod installer to search and browse Curseforge and allow one-click installs of mods
• World installer to search and browse Curseforge and allow one-click installs of worlds
• Prefab installer to search and browse Curseforge and allow one-click installs of prefabs
• Settings manager specific to Hytale to support the game and world settings
• Player manager added

Minecraft

• Modpack Installer updated with advanced filtering by game version and mod loader with sortable results
• Added pagination support for large modpack lists and search function
• Added more status and error handling to the modpack installer

Palworld

• Added a Mod Manager for modded Palworld servers. It allows one click install and mod load order sorting

Bug Fixes

• All schedules should always respect the user’s time zone settings in the Settings page. No more guessing if it was UTC or not
• Fixed timeout when deleting large files
• Web upload limit is now updated to 10 GB
• Websockets no longer endlessly retry when a connection should not be reattempted
• Improved performance by locally caching fonts
• Resolved CVE-2025-68954, CVE-2025-69197, and CVE-2025-69198
• Cleaned up misleading error messages
• Undoing changes with Ctrl+Z no longer wipes the file contents
• Uploading a 0-byte file no longer causes an error -Fixes issue where scheduled tasks would execute every minute regardless of their configured cron syntax.
